I had the opportunity to hire Kurt and crew to replace an old slate roof with asphalt shingles. He was straight forward with the work that needed to be done and his estimate was exactly what I was invoiced with at the end.The guys he has working for him were friendly and gave me updates on their progress whenever I stopped by to see how it was going. They left no mess behind and did quality work.
I'd recommend Klausmair Construction not only because their prices are competitive but also because of their professionalism.

Posted by daddy7042001 on 12/11/2009We started looking for replacement windows in 2/09 for our log cabin. After calling many contractors with very dismal results, a co-worker recommended Kurt. What a find! He made numerous trips to our house to find just the right windows to complement our home. The job was well done and Kurt and his employees were very personable and efficient. We would highly recommend Kurt for your home repairs. We'll be needing a new roof in the next year or so and will definitely call Kurt.

Posted by munook on 07/08/2009We first used Klausmair Construction in ’08 when we were repairing a small section of siding before selling our former house. We had experienced great trouble finding someone who was willing to work on a small project, but Kurt was out there within 24 hours to assess our needs, and the job was finished within days of our initial call. It was the care and attention he took with that small job that has made Kurt Klausmair our first call whenever we are in need of help with our new home—most recently a new composite slate roof. During the rain storms last August, we had water dripping into our kitchen. His first response when we called was to offer to tarp it immediately. He takes the time to draw up scenarios that are cognizant of family budgets and has been attentive to finding quality solutions within our style and budget parameters. His crew is attentive to detail and keeps their work area safe and orderly while working efficiently. We cannot recommend him highly enough; finally, for the areas outside of his specialties, we have had great experiences working with the service providers he recommends. As we embark on replacing our gutter system, repairing sections of our wood siding, and having our house’s exterior painted, Klausmair Construction is our only choice.

Posted by gordvill on 06/29/2009Kurt Klausmair Construction offered clear communication in the planning phases of our roofing project, giving detailed responses to various questions, offering different prices for differing detailed scenarios, allowing us to make an informed choice about the work to be done. This clear communication was continued throughout the actual work project. He and his crew did quality work at a reasonable and fair price. We are extremely pleased at the results. We had noticed his work in several area projects, and several neighbors have inquired about the work on our own house, admiring the results of the work. We feel fortunate to have found him.

Posted by metalfab75 on 05/23/2009Klausmair does great work. Had new roof, gable and stone stucco facing put on. Was done quickly professionally and affordable. Great communication kept well informed through out the process when, where, how and why. The finished product looks so great have met more neighbors in 2 weeks then in the 20 odd years I lived here. If your thinking about some type of work you have to at the least give them a call.

This contractor will do what ever it takes to get the job done right, and in a timely manner. I had my roof replaced by them a year ago, and had fantastic results. I have worked as a maintenance technician for years and have never seen people work as hard and efficiently as they do. I have also had them do work too the siding on my house; as well as replace a few windows this year and again they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anybody that wants the job done right the first time and to not even bother with the others. Klausmair construction is the only contractor that I will allow to work on my house. Kurt is an upstanding honest individual that is dedicated to quality workmanship. He has the experience and knowledge to complete any task that's given and does not mess around or haggle with price. when you need the work done right and don't know who you can trust, a sure bet is Klausmair construction.

I anticipated a drawn-out hassle in having repair work done, especially after the first contractor we contacted indicated that he recommended a siding specialist for our work. He recommended Klausmair Construction, and, wow, was that good advice. Mr. Klausmair called us promptly after receiving the referral, visited our home to view the damage, and immediately identified the brand and color of siding we would need for the repair. He inspected the exterior of our home and noticed cracks in the siding that my husband and I had missed; Mr. Klausmair has an eye for his work. He considered the situation and offered suggestions to minimize our costs. His estimate was so reasonable that my insurance company didn't raise any objections. Mr. Klausmair's team completed the repair quickly and neatly. It took less than 2 weeks to move from damage to repaired; it's impossible to tell that we had siding replaced! My neighbors were so impressed with the Klausmair team that 4 other homeowners have worked with Klausmair Construction to repair similar damage to their homes. The entire team is polite and professional. If you have to have siding work done, you can have confidence in Klausmair Construction.

Exceptional Exterior Siding and roof repair
Posted by 1drhugs on 04/21/2009Through the courtesy of the Tornado that touched down a few weeks ago, our residence sustained major league siding and roof damage. I obtained three estimates for the repairs needed and chose the firm that seemed most qualified. Klausmair Construction visited our home and spent considerable time explaining what the necessary repairs would entail and gave what, I believe, was a more than fair estimate. His staff performed admirably in all phases of the reconstruction. The interior work required the repair of drywall by replacing the damaged locations. Workers were neat and anxious to please with the work they supplied. Upon entering the residence, the removed there shoes to avoid tracking dirt inside. Any questions that I had during the repair were answered promptly. They knew what they were doing!! If needed, the services of the Klausmair Construction will be utilized without hesitation on my part as they have proven that a job to be done is worth doing well. If friends and family ever need work done on their homes, Klausmair will be the one getting the recommendation. They are a local and affordable firm that guarantees their work and complete satisfaction is their goal. Completely satisfied.

Exceptional You're In Good Hands With Klausmair!
Posted by tmccurdyjr on 04/16/2009Our home sustained some hail/wind damage from a severe storm on March 29th, 2009. The storm damaged the western facing siding, fascia, and downspouts of our home. Most of the damage was clearly visible; However, Kurt was the only contractor who spotted the roof damage on our home (the roof damage was difficult to notice since it lay under the shingles.) Klausmair's estimate most closely matched that of our adjuster's in terms of price and comprehensiveness. Kurt was always quick to return my calls. In addition, he even arranged to meet with my wife and I in the evening since that was the most convenient time for us. I have very little time to waste these days so it was a relief to know that Kurt and his crew had everything under control. I felt completely confident that our home was in the best of hands.
